Privacy notice

01The short version

We collect what you type into an enquiry form, and nothing else. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising trackers and no third-party scripts on this website. We do not sell or share enquiry data for marketing.

02What an enquiry contains

The enquiry, quote and note-builder forms submit the fields you complete. Only your name is required; everything else is optional and is sent only if you fill it in.

• Name, and optionally company and country
• Email address and phone number, so we can reply
• What you are interested in, indicative volume, and your message
• The scent code, or the note pyramid and bottling choices you built
• Your IP address, recorded with the enquiry and used to rate-limit the form against automated abuse

03Why we hold it

To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, send samples, and keep a record of what was quoted and agreed. That is a legitimate business interest in responding to someone who has approached us to trade, and where a contract follows, it is necessary to perform it.

We do not add you to a mailing list on the strength of an enquiry.

04Where it goes

An enquiry is not written to any database. It is delivered to our trade inbox by email and appears in our hosting provider's operational logs. These processors handle it on our behalf:

• Cloudflare — hosts the website and its enquiry endpoint, and provides DNS and protection against abuse
• Resend — delivers the enquiry to us by email, processed in the European Union
• Google Workspace — hosts the mailbox the enquiry arrives in

05International transfer

These providers operate globally, so an enquiry sent from the UAE may be processed on servers outside it. We use established providers that contract to protect the data they process for us.

06How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to trade are kept while there is a realistic prospect of business and then deleted. Where an order follows, we keep the correspondence and transaction records for as long as UAE commercial and tax law requires.

07What your browser stores

One thing is saved in your browser's local storage, on your device only. It is not a cookie, it is not transmitted to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

• Any unfinished blend in the note builder, so it survives a refresh

08Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because enquiries are held as email rather than in a database, deletion means removing the correspondence from our mailbox, which we will do unless we are required to keep it for tax or legal reasons.

Write to the address below and we will respond within thirty days. Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on personal data protection you may also complain to the UAE Data Office.

09Children

This is a trade website for businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10Changes to this notice

If what we collect or who processes it changes, we update this notice and the date shown at the top of it.
