About Vitalis

Two perfume traditions, one supply line

India has made fragrance for centuries and the Gulf has bought it for just as long. Vitalis exists in the space between the two: sourcing at origin, holding stock and answering to buyers in Dubai.

Why we started

The gap was never the fragrance. It was the service.

A brand owner in Dubai who wants to launch a perfume line has two unsatisfying options. Buy from a large house and accept their minimums, their range and their timelines. Or go direct to a manufacturer overseas and take on the sampling, the paperwork, the freight and the risk that the second batch smells different from the first.

Vitalis was set up to close that gap. We hold the relationships at origin — the distillers, the compounders, the bottle and cap suppliers — and we carry the coordination so our clients don't have to. You brief in Dubai, in your own time zone, to someone who is accountable for what arrives.

It is deliberately unglamorous work: chasing a revised trial, checking a back label before print, making sure a certificate is attached to the right batch. That work is the product.

Where it comes from

Three places, three different jobs

Our network isn't one factory. Each material comes from wherever it is actually made best, then gets compounded into something that ships.

  • Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh

India's attar town. Copper stills and hydro-distillation that predate the industry, still producing rose, kewda, vetiver and mitti attars the way they always have.

  • Mysuru, Karnataka

Sandalwood country. The reference point for creamy chandan, and the discipline that comes from working a material this expensive.

  • Mumbai & Ahmedabad

Modern compounding houses. Where a traditional profile gets rebuilt as a stable, IFRA-conformant blend that holds in alcohol and survives a shipping container.

Our perfumer and supplier network is described in general terms here by design. We introduce specific partners once a project is underway and consent is in place.

How we work

Four commitments

We quote, we don't publish prices
Cost depends on the blend, the volume and the packaging. A published price list would be fiction for every client except one.
Samples before commitment
Nobody should buy 25 kg of a fragrance they've only read about.
No copies, no exceptions
We don't clone branded fragrances. It's a legal risk to you and to us, and it caps your brand at being someone else's substitute.
We say what isn't ready
If a certificate isn't in hand or a lead time isn't confirmed, you'll be told that instead of being given a number that turns out to be optimistic.
